Hi there! I am a digital content producer, editor and writer with a focus on travel writing.
I currently work as Managing Editor for Marriott TRAVELER, Marriott’s consumer-facing online magazine geared toward Millennial travelers. I work with brands within Marriott’s portfolio (such as JW, Ritz-Carlton, W, and beyond), as well as multiple content partners, writers, photographers, designers and videographers to showcase editorial content.
In just under two years, the site has grown to reach nearly 1 million monthly page views, officially making it the most widely read hotel publication (W00T!).
Past clients include The Travel Channel, Condé Nast Traveler, BBC Travel, DK Eyewitness Travel, Visit the USA, Aol Travel, World Hum, and more. You can check out a sample of my work here.
Travel Expert
My extensive background in the travel space (has it really been 16+ years?) has led multiple travel brands to tap my destination expertise and industry savvy. The Travel Channel has enlisted me as a Travel Expert, focusing on world’s best beaches, outdoor travel and romantic getaways.
Florida Marriott Hotels has also brought me on board as its Smart Travel Expert, and a featured contributor its Florida Buzz Report online magazine.
Content Marketing, Media and Brand Work
To meet a growing number of requests from businesses and brands for content strategy and marketing work, in 2014, I co-founded a boutique content marketing agency, ICW Content. Over the years, I’ve worked with a number of media brands on broader topics, including Discovery Channel, The Colbert Report, MTV Networks, and Viacom.
I’ve also created content for fashion brands like Versace, educational institutions such as Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health, and Loyola University, and healthcare companies, including Integrated Health Care Partners.
This career followed editorial positions and freelance work in print journalism at the Boston Globe, Baltimore Sun and Philadelphia Inquirer, and guidebook publishing work with Frommer’s Travel Guides.
I have also had the great fortune to teach writing for multiple summers in Italy’s Apennine foothills with a Loyola University study abroad program (and yes, that’s as dreamy as it sounds). For more details on my background, take a look at my LinkedIn profile.

Typically, the content I create is centered around written web copy and blog posts, destination-specific content, travel experiences and photo galleries. As a digital producer I am astute at working within a variety of content management systems, producing articles, slideshows and videos.
